The Syrian army stated on March 17 that during a RAID on a convoy “Hezbollah” shot down an Israeli aircraft. The IDF then officially denied any losses, but today admitted that during the RAID was lost one drone. At the same time, Israel claims that the drone fell itself, and was not shot down by Syrian air defense.
The Houthis militia has revealed its four new types of drones used for surveillance as well as attack.
Yesterday an American aircraft was shot down in Western Anbar province. The Pentagon officially denied the loss of any machine in Western Iraq.
Nonetheless, the Caliphate has published several photos, which are supposed to indicate that some machine (possibly UAV) was shot down or fell as a consequence of technical faults.
It is noteworthy that the photos show some equipment and debris, but no photos from the crash site that DAESH usually shows when machines of their opponents fall on their territory.
TEL AVIV, Israel — An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from Syria managed Sunday to penetrate Israeli airspace and evade two Patriot anti-air interceptors and possibly an F-16-launched air-to-air missile, sources here said.
An Israeli military spokesman insisted Israel Air Force air defenders detected the UAV prior to its violation of Israeli airspace on Sunday afternoon in the area of the Golan Heights. According to a July 17 statement, the Air Force continued to track the target in Israeli skies, yet failed to down the intruder, despite three intercept attempts.
