The Ministry of defence has published a new video of the Russian multipurpose fighter su-35S in the air. The video comes amid reports that the first batch of four su-35 aircraft delivered to China under contract. In total, China needs to be delivered 24 su-35.
The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that Vladislav Kuzmichev and Mikhail Zavali of Rosoboronexport signed a contract to provide 20 Russian warplanes – 10 Sukhoi Su-35, 4 10 Sukhoi Su-30 and 6 Yakovlev Yak-130 – as well as several Project 636 Kilo-class submarines and tanks and armoured vehicles.
Russia’s advanced Sukhoi Su-35S fighter jets started accomplishing combat missions in Syria last week, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Monday.
Some media outlets earlier reported about the redeployment of these fighter jets to Syria.
“Starting from last week, super-maneuverable Su-35S fighter jets started performing combat missions at Khmeimim airbase,” the spokesman said.
