Russian air defense missile system, S-300 is ready to be delivered to Iran, said the country’s Defense Minister Hossein Dehgan.

Russia Starts Delivering S-300 Air Defense Systems to Iran | FARS

On November 9, Russia signed a new contract with Iran on the delivery of “about 300” S-300 air defenсe systems, according to Russia’s state technologies corporation Rostec.

Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanayee announced that the contract to deliver the Russian S-300 missile defense system to Tehran has been finalized and its implementation is underway.

“As our defense minister and the Russian side have announced, the contract has been finalized and both sides have reached a definite agreement in this regard,” Sanayee told FNA.

“The implementation of the contract is moving on its natural course,” he added.
