Moscow. 1 Feb. INTERFAX.RU – the Lawyer of one of arrested in the case against former employees of FSB and former Manager of “Kaspersky Lab” confirmed that they were charged with treason in favor of the United States.

“Mikhailov Stoyanov Dokuchaev and charged with treason in favor of the United States,” – said “Interfax” the lawyer of one of them, the head of “Team 29” Ivan Pavlov.

He did not specify whose interests are represented in the case. “I don’t know about others, but my client pleads not guilty”,- he said.

Pavlov added that is not seen in the case of information about the alleged founder of the hacker group “Humpty Dumpty” Vladimir Anikeev.

As reported, in the case of treason and hackers arrested four people, including head of information security Center (Tsib) of the FSB of the Russian Federation Sergey Mikhailov, his Deputy Dmitry Dokuchaev. Employees of FSB of Russia are charged that, in violation of the oath, passed on confidential information to the Central intelligence Agency of the United States.

The case also arrested the former head of the Department of investigation of computer incidents “Kaspersky Lab” Ruslan Stoyanov.

It was also reported that in November 2016 were arrested journalist Vladimir Anikeyev, the accused in the illegal access to computer information and is, according to media reports, the organizer of the hacker group “Humpty Dumpty”. Anikeeva charged with illegal access to computer information, committed by a group of persons upon a preliminary collusion or by an organized group (part 3 of article 272 of the criminal code).

The day before a source familiar with the situation, reported that “only in the case arrested four people, and as partners appear up to eight people. The prosecution presented only four, the rest can get away with a status of witness”.

Another source told the Agency that “the themes of hacking and betrayal are superimposed on each other in the case, but do not intersect”.

“Each of the defendants in doing their job – someone has developed and used schemes of cyber attacks, and someone who cooperated with foreign intelligence services. And these directions were parallel and, as a rule, do not overlap” – said the Agency interlocutor.

The whole group, according to him, were connected by the fact that they knew each other and had to do IT-technologies and information security. “And mainly in the chain was not a senior position and rank,” – said the source.

Meanwhile, the Central intelligence Agency (CIA) would not comment on reports that those arrested on charges of treason and the hackers and the Russian FSB officers are accused of transferring confidential information to the CIA. “We refuse to comment on it”, – told “Interfax” the representative of American intelligence agencies.

On 25 January, the newspaper “Kommersant” with reference to sources reported that the investigation instigated by Management of own safety of FSB of the case of treason (article 275 of the criminal code) verify information on the alleged receipt by the employee of CDC money from one of the foreign organizations by the mediation of employee of a certain Russian company in the field of information security. In the Center of public relations of FSB “Interfax” did not comment on the publication.

A group of computer hackers, calling themselves “Humpty Dumpty” or “Anonymous international”, became famous a few years ago.
